OnlyOne is a "unified communications" company that provides service to businesses and individuals who want simplicity, control and privacy in their communications.  OnlyOne was founded on the premise that highly mobile professionals, across the country in all industries, would want to be able to provide a cost effective, professional and seamless communications experience for their clients.

The OnlyOne service provides subscribers with one local number that is a gateway for all callers to reach them -whether they are at work, in their car, at home or another office. A caller can also reach a subscriber's voicemail, pager or fax with that same local number.

OnlyOne is a privately held company that is building and developing a national network of locally owned and operated service centers that deploy unified communications technology offering full-featured single-number voice, fax, and messaging communication services to individuals and businesses.

OnlyOne, powered by iTel Connect, uses today's technology to level the playing field, which permits individuals and businesses of any size access to sophisticated yet affordable communication services previously accessible only to large corporations.

Today's office phone systems require companies to purchase expensive hardware and software in order to create that professional corporate image. Smaller companies with limited resources are faced with having to lock themselves into costly long term contracts. These scenarios created an excellent opportunity for the OnlyOne solutions suite, as well as allowed OnlyOne to generate a cost effective solution for companies to achieve the same professional image at a greatly reduced rate. Keep in mind, many of today's businesses are less than 100 employees, so the OnlyOne price structure provides a great benefit to cost ratio.

Our organization is made up of sales, marketing and technical professionals from various vertical industries, who in the past have experienced, as well as our clients, the short term make shift communications tools that were designed to help us achieve optimum productivity and efficiency both in and out of the office. These tools have equipped us with multiple numbers like, the office number, the direct dial office number, the cell number, the fax number, pager number, etc. All of which have direct or indirect cost implications down the line. The industry began realizing the clutter and confusion that these multitude of numbers created, and developed even more gadgets to remove the hassle of managing all of these numbers, cost and processes. Those tools ranged from hiring a service or purchasing expensive digital office equipment, or signing up for as many unlimited calling plans possible. Some of the challenges that came with these solutions were:

•  We incurred outside cost because we were not all using the same mobile carriers

•  We still had to call into the office to get our voicemail, which created a second voice mail to check outside of our mobile phone

•  The quality of service from our mobile phone carrier varied so often we would incur dropped calls and excessive minutes used, not to speak of the unprofessional interaction of calling a client back over and over

•  Some of us worked for companies who would notify us on one device, but we still had to call into a separate service to retrieve our messages

•  When clients reached us outside of the office we were often unable to resolve their issues and had to defer them to yet another internal company number

•  We need hardware, software and someone who understood it to maintain it.

•  When we needed or add or remove employees we got charged each time someone walked in the door

The bottom line is that we were just not providing a comprehensive, seamless flow of communications for ourselves or our clients.
